N-E-K-K-I-D

It was a very hot morning with kiddos. Dub walked around a lot in mama's shoes. Lena played in the dirt box. Victoria Miller spent the morning with us because the Millers were in court, which went fine and they were approved. We had excellent, volunteer garshoking, and good sharing of the water bottle between brother and sister. Victoria let them both into Mit's van at 11:15, causing lots of fun: They both sat in the back of the van looking out the back window at me repeatedly shouting PAAAAPAAAA!!! To which I have to very loudly respond LEEEENAAAA!!! DUUUUUUBBB!!!! But when Mama went to take them out of the car because it was time for them to go off to lunch, they both threw a fit, and nearly drove Mama to madness in the blistering heat. Dub went off to his group without a sound, but Lena kicked and screamed all the way home.

Second visit was mostly inside, and lots of fun. Dub decided he'd get nekkid, which, for those of you who don't know, is pronounced "N-E-double-K-by-God-I-D, NEKKID!" Thank you, Lewis Grizzard. For no reason at all, he just took off all his clothes, ran all around the music room and ended up on the garshok. Then he just got dressed again like it was just the thing to do. Unfortunately, all the pictures we tried to get of this little escapade were too blurry to be of any use.

So, 8 days and a wake up until "the day of possession". It now seems like a really short time, only a week, until this 15 day waiting period is over. It is such a blessing that it is going by so fast. All is well, and we even seem to be getting used to the heat. That will come in handy when we return to Atlanta in July. OY!

Now for the pictures from today.

Double trouble, eatin in double time.

Dub is learning, slowly, to take very small spoonfuls of yogurt. Wait till he gets his first Dairy Queen Blizzard!!

Hey there, brother! Hey there, sister!

I tried to put my hat on straight, but I don't have a mirror!

Dub, those are MAMA'S shoes!!

Yipes! She can be a little scary!

Oh! I see, I see! That makes a lot of sense, sure, ok.

Daddy! You're bein silly!

MA! You knocked me down on the sosa!

We were very surprised when we gave them a bottle of water to share, both that they could easily drink from a bottle like this, and that they just took a drink and then gave the bottle to the other.

There's a Coke commercial in here somewhere.

This is Lena with Victoria Miller. Victoria is 10, and lives on a farm outside of St. Pete Florida.

Don't bother me. I'm thirsty. It's very hot here.

There's a big toothy grin!

Not even sure what this face means.

I do think it is flip flop time the the little guy. What about Lena? Is she into the sandles also? The pic of Angel and Dub is a master piece.

Pray all is well.
